Provenance & Details
An exceptionally rare gorge-cased carriage clock from Paris, circa 1885. The eight-day movement features original platform escapement and strikes on a blued steel gong. The enamel dial is flawless, presenting Roman numerals and original blued steel Breguet hands. The heavy brass case retains its original fire-gilded finish with only minor signs of age appropriate for a piece of this caliber. Fully serviced and keeping perfect time.
